RTA stands for Roads and Transport Authority. It aims at improving the transport network in United Arab Emirates in co-operation with other traffic departments. Implementation of traffic and vehicle rules and regulations are also ensured by RTA.

Do I need to get my cars inspected each year?

For all cars registered under a company’s name, yearly vehicle inspection is compulsory. For cars registered under an individual’s name, inspection at RTA’s designated inspection centers must be done every year, however the first three years after car purchase from agency are exempted from inspection.

What should I do if my car gets failed in RTA vehicle inspection?
